Advantage Awarded NeedleTech Renovation Contract

Advantage Construction was recently awarded the Design Build contract for the renovation of NeedleTech’s headquarters in North Attleboro, MA. NeedleTech Products, Inc. is a leading ISO 9001:2000 vertically integrated Medical Device Manufacturer that incorporates needle point grinding, steel and plastic machining and fabrication, insert and injection molding, device assembly and sterile packaging.

The 51,000 SF building was recently purchased by Theragenics Corporation from Tyco and has the potential for a 20,000 SF expansion. Advantage will demo the interior of the building to clear out the existing layout and perform a complete renovation including all new HVAC and a new roof. The sales and administrative side of the facility will house cubicle areas, conference rooms and a lunch room equipped to hold up to 60 employees. The manufacturing area will include a metal fabrication room, molding room and grinding room as well as packaging, shipping and receiving areas.

NeedleTech Products, Inc. was acquired by Theragenics Corporation (TGX) (NYSE) in July 2008. Theragenics Corporation® is a medical device company serving the cancer treatment and surgical markets.
